This ethiopian coffee is the work of a single dedicated farmer, Getaneh Endale Mengesha, cultivated in the renowned Yirgacheffe region. His farm spans 3.9 hectares (39,000 m²) and is sits at an altitude od 2,019 m.a.s.l.. The coffee is harvested between October and December and processed using the natural method. Getaneh is deeply committed to improving both quality and sustainability on his farm. He enriches the soil through composting and carefully prepares the coffee on drying beds after harvesting.
Since beginning his coffee-growing journey in 2011, Getaneh has poured his heart into cultivating his crop. His primary goal is to increase the productivity of his farm and increase quality further.
Looking ahead, he dreams of upgrading his farm to include a lodge for tourists and buyers, designed in the traditional Yirgacheffe style, where tourists and coffee buyers can experience the rich culture and story behind each cup.
