Cafeistas is a Specialty project of Coffee Republic S.A., started in 2011, offering “The Complete Coffee Experience” under one roof! A unique space, open to be visited by anyone who wishes to enjoy, not only a delicious freshly brewed cup of coffee, but also the whole experience around the final cup!
Located in the industrial area of Peristeri, Athens, our complete coffee production, roasting, packaging and warehousing, take place in an open and visitable environment, equipped with state-of-the-art machinery with environmentally friendly features! In front of the production area, a large glass window separates it from our Coffee Shop. At our Coffee Shop, visitors can find the entire Cafeistas coffee collection, taste and purchase from our retail corner, coffee for home and coffee tools.
On the first floor is located our Cafeistas Training Campus which is certified as SCA Premier Training Campus completing the full experience for those who’re willing to get it.

At Cafeistas we aim to be at the forefront of innovation in the field of technology and beyond, operating in the wholesale and retail coffee business. We strive to implement new ideas in terms of equipment, the products we offer, our actions and activities.
Ecological & social awareness
We are the first coffee company in Greece that chose to roast coffee on Loring machines. One of the reasons was their environmentally friendly features! Loring machines use less energy and emit less emissions than traditional machines, which is particular important as we are able to roast our production with fuel savings and less ecological footprint.
At Cafeistas, we support green ecology, and buy organic and biological coffees to encourage farmers and producers to continue their work. Since 2017, our company meets the requirement of the organization “DIO”, an Inspection and Certification Organization of organic products. We have, also, established a food safety management system that is in conformity with the requirement of the international standard ISO 22000:2018.
Αt the same time, we choose to offer coffees also in compostable capsules that provide a more sustainable option. Our goal is to change the rest of the packaging materials we use daily in our production, to environmentally friendly.
Our efforts towards green development do not end here. As recently as 2023, we installed a solar panels system, on the rooftop of our facilities, covering our entire electricity needs. In this way, we succeed a great reduction of our carbon footprint.
We believe that no company can stop climate change by itself, but businesses can play a critically important role in helping fight against it. At Cafeistas we contribute 1% of our revenue to help new carbon removal technologies scale up. We are proud to be part of “Stripe Climate”, a coalition of businesses accelerating carbon removal.
Together, we seek to make a positive contribution to society and strive to enhance our social responsibility. We show sensitivity and respect for the needs, rights, concerns and equality of vulnerable groups in society and participate in activities to provide assistance to organizations or communities in need.
Over the past few years, we have actively contributed to “the Smile of the Child” organization, the work of Unicef and the self-governing social solidarity group “The Other Man”. In addition, the Club for Unesco of Piraeus & Islands has honored us for our contribution to the structures for the direct treatment of poverty. “Coffee Kids” which is dedicated to improving the quality of life for children and families living in coffee growing communities around the world has certified our company as a business member in its activities. At the same time, as we focus on bringing you exceptional coffees, we support cooperatives that empower women to develop and control their own coffee production, from growing to exporting. D.R. CONGO WOMAN’S PEACE coffee, selected from the cooperation coopade of Democratic Republic of Congo. Additionaly, there’s Woman’s Coffee from Guatemala, specifically from the Huehuetenango region, produced by 124 women who are part of the Asociación Civil Comercializadora Maya Alternativa (COMAL). With COMAL’s support, these women are dedicated to improving the quality of their coffee and ensuring the environmental sustainability of their farms.
